Tuck-in Time

We have started a nightly ritual of having Reese tuck in her brother and sister, they would rather have hugs and kisses from her than me now!

7 years of bliss!

Can hardly believe it's been 7 years of marriage and going on 10 years of being with Ryan, time certainly does fly when you're having fun! Looking back it seems like yesterday that we were chatting it up in the aisle of the Fareway grocery store one Friday night...

First Day of 1st Grade

Our first day of school!

Sydney started 1st grade today! She looked so grown up and was so ready to go this morning! It's sad not knowing what she's doing everyday now, but it gives us more to talk about at the end of the day!

1st Day of Preschool

It is completely unbelievable to me that Bennett, my rowdy little sweetheart of a boy, is old enough to be going to preschool! He started at Creative World, the same preschool Sydney went to, this past week. He goes on Tuesdays and Thursdays all day. The Tues. AM drop-off was a little rough, but he likes it more each time, so I guess that's a good sign!

Backyard Campout

Ryan & the kids had a great time one Sunday night late this summer camping out in the backyard! I always got to do that every summer with a friend at my house and I wanted the kids to have some of the same fun memories I have! They had so much fun and actually slept the whole night in the tent(the kids slept, Ryan...not so much!)

We did have a big undertaking this summer with updating all of our landscaping, including a concrete stamped patio with a seat wall at our house. Ryan was a member of the crew and was definitely glad that is not his permanent job! It was a lot of work and looks great! Here are the before and after pictures...just a little improvment, don't you think?!

Summertime Fun!

We have had a busy summer, with far less traveling now that we have Reese! We did get to go to my parents' home in Yankton, SD for a short vacation with my family over the 4th, lots of fun! The kids are growing like crazy, Sydney is loving swimming, gymnastics, playing outside with friends, and riding her bike. Bennett is a little nervous on his bike still(perhaps our hills have something to do with that!), but he likes to run his dumptruck up and down the hill, swim, play baseball, and ride his scooter. Reese is a great baby! She is so content and is starting to smile and laugh all the time! She loves her brother and sister as much as they love her and I can't wait to watch them all grow up together. It's so fun experiencing all of their different stages together!

Welcome Baby Reese!

Since my intent on my first attempt at a blog was to begin when Reese joined our family to keep track of all the fun things we would be doing, I decided to start this new blog at the beginning...of Reese's little life that is! Hopefully I don't bore everyone with things they already know, or pictures they've already seen! Let's also hope I can keep this one up better that the other one!
